Bright Path Early Intervention Programme
The EIPIC-P Programme offers targeted early intervention for children requiring specialised communication, motor skills, behaviour, and social interaction support. Individualised learning plans are developed for each child, in consultation with parents, our therapists, and early intervention specialists.
Therapy sessions are integrated into daily activities to ensure children receive therapeutic intervention while participating in a typical classroom environment. The goal is to support each child in reaching their developmental milestones and preparing them for a successful transition to primary education or specialised programmes.
Integrated Learning Environment
One of the unique aspects of Bright Path is our inclusive approach, where children from both the Childcare Programme and EIPIC-P Programme are placed together in the same classrooms.
This integration allows for:
- Peer learning
- Collaborative support
- Flexible support
Through this collaborative, inclusive model, Bright Path ensures that every child receives the best start in life.
Class Placement Exercise
At Bright Path, we believe in early identification and tailored intervention to help every child achieve their full potential. Our screening process, also known as the Class Placement Exercise, is a critical first step in understanding each child’s unique developmental needs.
What is the Class Placement Exercise?
The Class Placement Exercise is a comprehensive assessment conducted at Bright Path to evaluate each child’s developmental needs and determine the most suitable placement within our programmes.
Why is the Class Placement Exercise important?
The Class Placement Exercise allows us to assess children’s developmental readiness, ensuring that they are placed in an environment that best supports their growth and learning.
When does the Class Placement Exercise take place?
The Class Placement Exercise takes place before enrolment.
What does the Class Placement Exercise involve?
- Developmental assessments: Specialists evaluate key areas such as language skills, motor development, and social interactions.
- Parental insights: We gather valuable information from parents about their child’s abilities and areas of concern.
- Class suitability determination: During the Class Placement Exercise, the specialist evaluates the child’s overall readiness. The screening outcome is based on the child’s developmental stage, level of independence, and specific needs.
What happens after the Class Placement Exercise?
- Placement decision: The results guide us in determining the most suitable placement in either the Childcare or EIPIC-P Programme, based on availability and the child’s specific needs.
- Observation period: Children who are enrolled will go through a 6-week adjustment phase, during which their progress is closely monitored.
- IEP development: After the observation period, an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) is created for children requiring additional support, outlining tailored goals and strategies.
